Welcome to Stover School: Boarding
A true home, in the heart of our school family
There’s just one boarding house at Stover, and it’s called home.
The Stover boarding family ebbs and flows during the academic year, with some weekly boarders, the occasional overnight visit and others staying all term – but everyone has a valued place in the house.
Our staff have a wealth of boarding experience and bond quickly with each young person, ensuring they feel safe, nurtured and secure.
Boys and girls sleep on different wings but share living space with at least two members of staff in the boarding house at all times. It’s a smaller size boarding house and each individual has the freedom to be themselves, but are cared for like they’re family.
"I had never played cricket or rugby before I came to Stover but I have had the chance to play both and loved them. I've got a lot better at rugby over the term. The best things about boarding has been the people I've met, everyone is really nice."
