Our Sixth Formers have access to a variety of qualification opportunities that help develop both practical skills and academic achievements. These qualifications provide pupils with a well-rounded skill set, enhancing their readiness for both further education and the workforce.

Extended Project Qualification
The EPQ provides pupils with the opportunity to explore a topic of their choice independently, with one-on-one tutor support. This qualification helps build research and critical thinking skills and is recognized by universities.

We partner with Elevate Education to deliver study skills workshops to our cohort. These Study Skills sessions teach pupils effective study strategies, covering areas like time management and note-taking, to improve their academic performance.
Following trial exams, students receive ‘Ace Your Exams’ Post-Trial examination support, helping them analyse their performance, identify areas to improve, and prepare more effectively for their exams.
The Wells Heads of School Leadership Conference offers pupils the chance to develop leadership skills by collaborating with peers from other schools, helping to prepare them for leadership roles in the future.

For those interested in sports and leadership, the Level 2 and Level 3 Sport Leaders qualifications allow pupils to develop leadership abilities through hands-on experience in organizing and leading sports activities. These qualifications are particularly beneficial for those aiming for careers in sports coaching or education.
Other training opportunities include, but are not limited to, Level 1 Safeguarding, First Aid, and the Learn 2 Live: Driver Awareness Course which helps pupils understand road safety and the responsibilities of being a driver.
