The activities programme is an important part of the school day and we encourage all pupils to try a range of enrichment opportunities, where possible, at school; many of the activities can lead to lifelong hobbies and passions. The programme is designed to develop pupils as individuals, enrich education, offer further opportunities for children to develop their passions and help recognise talent and potential.

Clubs and Activities take place after school from 3.45pm until 4.30pm

Please see below for an example of our clubs and activities programme.

The clubs programme starts from the Reception Class with a wide range of different activities for all year groups such as: different sports clubs (Rugby, Football, Cricket, Tennis, Fitness, Netball, Golf), Zumba/Dance, Construction, Art and crafts, Fine art, Philosophy, Storytelling, Sewing, Orchestra, Chess, Creative writing, Eco, Mindfulness, Spanish bingo, Choir, Drama, and Homework club.

Stover School also belongs to the Devon Schools’ Sports partnership and we participate in numerous events with other schools in the area with many of the events being held in our extensive grounds throughout the year.

Pupils can choose to take part in individual lessons during the school day, these include the opportunity for all pupils to learn a musical instrument with one of our Peripatetic music specialists, individual Tennis lessons and LAMDA.

Our curriculum is also supplemented by numerous and varied enrichment activities which provide the children with the opportunity to develop a wide range of personal skills and valuable attributes.
