Stover School in South Devon offers international boarding pupils aged 13+ an exceptional British education in a warm, family-style boarding house. Just 2 hours 45 minutes by train from London and 20 minutes from Exeter Airport (with daily Schiphol flights), Stover combines academic excellence with specialist Golf and Tennis Academies. Sixth Form pupils study A Levels or BTECs, progressing to top Russell Group universities including Durham, Manchester, Bristol, Exeter, Nottingham, and Birmingham. The fee structure offered is as follows:

Year 1: 15%

All subsequent years: 5%

For new agents to Stover placing a full time pupil for a minimum of one year there is a one-off commission of 25% for the first pupil.

We now have planning permission for a new state-of-the-art sports hall and a suite of additional classrooms, marking a major step forward in its commitment to providing world-class facilities for pupils of all abilities.

Designed to meet the highest modern standards, the new sports complex will include professional training spaces, flexible indoor courts, and performance areas dedicated to nurturing exceptional sporting talent. It will offer outstanding opportunities for talented athletes from across the globe who seek a supportive academic and sporting environment in the heart of Devon.

The accompanying new classrooms will further enhance the school’s academic provision, integrating modern technology and flexible learning spaces ideal for collaborative study and innovation. Golf academy – Launching September 2026

Stover School is delighted to announce the launch of its new Golf Academy, opening in September 2026. Led by PGA Professional Andy Fox and Stover School Sports Director, Alex Lloyd.

The academy will offer talented young golfers the chance to develop their skills within a supportive and inspiring environment alongside their education at Stover School. Pupils selected for the academy will have the opportunity to apply to become a sports scholar at the school. This might include a discount on school fees, as well as expert coaching and access to first-class facilities. This exciting new programme is designed to open doors and create opportunities for gifted players, helping them to reach their full potential both on the course and in the classroom.
