Give your child the confidence to explore, learn and grow in a safe, inspiring environment.
At Stover, every child is known as an individual. Through play, discovery and outdoor learning, we help children build the confidence, curiosity and skills that prepare them for the next stage of their education.

Why choose Early Years at Stover?
Learning through play. Children learn best when they are engaged and having fun:
- Our experienced Early Years team creates exciting opportunities for exploration, creativity and problem solving every day.
- Carefully planned activities help children develop strong foundations in communication, learning a language, early mathematics and personal development.

Space to grow
Our 64-acre woodland campus becomes part of the classroom.
- Children explore nature, build dens, discover wildlife and enjoy outdoor learning that develops confidence, curiosity and resilience.
- Every day brings new opportunities to learn through real experiences.

Individual care
Every child develops in their own way.
- Small class sizes allow us to understand each child’s interests, strengths and needs.
- Our nurturing approach helps children feel safe, valued and ready to learn from their very first day.

Part of the Stover community
From Nursery onwards, children become part of the wider Stover family.
- They benefit from specialist experiences, meet older pupils and enjoy a smooth transition into Prep School.
- Parents are kept closely involved through regular communication and a strong partnership with our Early Years team.

“Being part of this school for generations has been an incredible journey. It’s not just a place where children come to learn; it’s a second home, a tight-knit community where everyone feels like family. What sets this school apart is its genuine care for each child’s well-being, not just academically, but emotionally too. The teachers and staff go above and beyond to ensure that every child feels seen, heard, and supported in their journey. And when it comes to opportunities outside the classroom, the range of extracurricular activities is truly impressive. From sports to arts, there’s something for every interest and talent to flourish. It’s this holistic approach to education that makes this school such a special place, where children not only excel academically but also grow into confident, well-rounded individuals.” (Photo Credit Emily Fleur)
